Profiles, Our Newsletter

The Arc of Oakland County’s award-winning newsletter and primary communications link with its large membership.  This periodical written for consumers, family members and interested professionals is published six times per year and contains topical information and opinion on matters relating to children and adults with intellectual impairments.

Features include a monthly membership counter, a weekly and monthly special events calendar, contact information for staff, articles on special education law, Social Security Disability benefits, important local and state-wide legislative issues, special needs income tax credits and deductions, and local recreational opportunities.

PROFILES is sent only to members in good standing. The cost of an annual standard membership is $55, or $45 to persons 62 years of age and older.
